Purpose of the Practical Policy Institute of Hawaii

The purpose of the Practical Policy Institute of Hawaii is the education of and for the people of Hawaii:

  • Providing a better understanding of the climate system
  • Evaluating the practicality of energy policies
  • Producing analysis of renewable energy land use tradeoffs
  • Focusing on climate adaptation strategies

The Institute was incorporated in the State of Hawaii in January of 2022 and received IRS 501(c)(3) status in March of 2022.
